Default 2007 fxdl dash help

Hi all,
I'm currently working on relocating my idiot lights for fxdl and all went well except.. putting the dash back on 😖

The dash mounts need bent out to fit...

Does ANYONE have ACTUAL experience moving around the dash mount? If so.. input is appreciated!

This is final step and dont wna f it up hurrying for no reason.

C'mon lights dont make me look like one 😭

Why didn't you route the wiring through the cutout at the end of the dash?

@tygr1 I cut and shaped/sanded it w/ a dremel. Saw a old post talking about it. Went for it.

What do you mean "The dash mounts need bent out to fit... " They don't have enough room between them to fit the lights?

I'm asking if there is a specific way to go about it or has someone has done something similar. Possibly have drilled out the clip fittings to gain some more room? I dont wna bust the bracket rounding third.

Leme kno!

Don't worry about putting people's screen names in responses. We'll know who you're talking to. When you tag people by putting in their screen names it also sends a private message and it can be a bit annoying.
