Broken exhaust bracket stud in transmission side door
I have a 2009 Dyna Fat bob. I replaced the rear motor mount and removed the exhaust bracket that connects to the transmission. Once the bracket was removed, I noticed the bottom stud was loose and at some point has broken off. The break is pretty deep and it seems the best bet for extraction would be to remove the transmission side door.
The service manual states that the primary and the clutch have to be removed to accomplish this. I'm trying to determine what my options are and if I want to handle it or buy my way out. Has anyone experienced this problem? If so, how did you resolve it?

I believe Custom Chrome makes a puller that allows you to remove just the Trap Door. You can call to confirm https://retrocycle.com/products/0881...nsmission_tool
