Its been awhile since i did mine but can remember cutting an old torx bit and useing a 1/4 " openend/ box wrench.
That's is the method I was thinking about using, I don't think I need to cut the torx bit.
Or maybe leave it and chain lock bike thru that loop thru light pole while a rallies.
I never removed one but I reinstalled one that the previous owner took off-with a die grinder by the looks of it. Anyway, I used hex head capscrews this time- I don't know why they don't do that to begin with- makes everything a lot easier.
I used three different types of Torx bits. Two different socket kinds, one from Sears, one a no-name, and one of those T handled drivers. Took a lot of muscle, but I got it off.
Thanks, I got a short torx wrench from Harbor Freight under $5 and got it off. New pipes installed 3-4 hours. Just not sure about 90 -120 fp on the head bolts. I know the manual calls for this.

I hope you mean inch/lbs! of course you do , otherwise your flange nuts would shear off long before! You don't need a tork wench for those at all. Just seat them in evenly until their snug, and a half turn past that and voila! I learned that here!!!
