Or stiffen up the pre load on the rear when you have a passenger.

Hehe yes, I did figured that out on earlier post when I was thinking while I wrote it.

I know, but I dont want to mask the problem with something else. I want to find the source of the problem.

I think Ill find something to insert between the engine and the frame and take it for a ride. If the "something" gets a dent or a mark then I might know where the problem is.

Check your primary chain? It can get a harmonic "bounce" at about 2100 to 2650 rpm. Strong enough to just about bounce the whole bike off the ground. (Serious.)

I wouldn't call it a masking. The rear suspension is only supposed to travel a little over an inch and max out at around 2". Your issue may just be you are exceeding the allowable travel in the rear suspension that will keep the engine balanced in the mounts. If you plan to exceed that then you need to add stiffening to the rear mount to prevent it from at least bouncing back in forth on the rear mount. You will get move vibes across all revs but it won't be so severe when riding 2 up.

I see. It’s weird tho, I have 12 clicks and it’s set 3 clicks back away from firmest position, and recommend are 4 or 5 clicks for my weight. Rwd shocks. 2” max from a 14” suspension?

I finally found the problem! It was the new rear motor mount from motorcyclestorehouse that didn’t do the job! I switched back to the old mount, luckily I didn’t threw it away. Now it rides perfect with the sputhe stabilizers and my shocks works properly. Damn finally!

"Perfect” might be over exaggerating, the old motor mount is not in the bestest shape and I can feel it. At least the vibrating issue is solved and next step should be easy now!

Has someone tried sputhe stabilizers with non stock motor mounts with success? Don’t want to go stock if it’s a better alternative out there. Just looking for a Mount that works well with sputhe, so not bbc, chopper house, predator and etc

What I find is that they vibrate a different intensities at different rpms.

Where to you run it?

Mine smooths out where I use it. At some rpms its rattling.

I can put the heel of my boot on the exhaust pipe at any time. Some times its really shaking. Where I run it down the freeway its smooth as glass and I adjust the gear and load to keep it that way.

Can you get it to any operational level where its smooth?

You shouldn’t put your heel on the pipe. I know now what caused the problem, but thanks anyways.
