I think this brought up in past but cant find thread. I added the little nut in the rear fender so I can put a two up seat on. When I have the solo seat I can hear the little nut/spacer vibrating (over the pipes) and it's driving me crazy. Wondering what some of you have done to quiet this rattle.

 

I had an annoying noise, but I divorced her years ago.

You can remove the extra nut. May not be the answer you want but I could not come up with a way to stop the noise myself.
I will be watching for other response.

 

put some silicone caulking around that nut. problem fixed. the rubber looking kind. good stuff .

 

I had the sam problem. Just tighten down a screw in the nut and your problem will be solved.

 

Is it the far back one? Why not just remove it and place the black cap back in? Real easy to do and only adds about 1 min to the seat swap time.
