I know most sub models have their own thread so thought I'd start a thread for FXD35 owners to show off their bikes and list mods. Would also be cool if you let us all know what number your bike is since all 3500 if these were all numbered.
I'll go first.
#837 if 3500
Bought it with 14k on it. It was a mess. 16" front and rear wheels (wagon wheel front and solid disc rear), wide glide trees, 7" headlight, floorboards front and rear with edge cut P&A boards, carburetor conversion with a Mikuni 45, ported heads, 95" kit, S&S 585G cams, feuling support plate and oil pump, and 1.675:1 roller rockers. The pulley hardware was loose and had damaged the wheel, pulley and swingarm. I went back to EFI, mid controls, mid glide trees, 5-3/4" headlight, and 17"/19" wheel combo. While I was converting the front I put on chrome dual disc lowers with V-Rod Brembos, chrome slotted 6 spoke wheels, Patriot Genesis springs, TrackerDie +2" damper rods, Speed Merchant preload adjusters, and Bitubo 14" shocks. The headlight is from a 2018+ FXBB. I installed a Power Vision and swapped out the Vance & Hines Big Radius duals for a Hi-output 22-into-1 Short. Biltwell 10" Murdoch risers and moto bars. 1FNGR clutch and brake lever. Engine is currently apart to be rebuilt as a 113" with balanced, trued, plugged and welded flywheels, 110 heads, T-Man 660 PS-2 cams, and 58mm throttle body. Also have a set of Blue Collar Metalworx handguards to go on but need to get then chromed. Probably forgetting a few things, turn signals, mirrors, taillight, license plate mount, jiffy stand block, fork dust covers ect.

Mine is #369. 100% stock with 563 original miles. Bought new by original owner to be part of a collection. He Drove it 27 miles home, parked it in a climate ontrolled barn and there it stayed for 15 years. Picked it up August 2021, and got it running great. Looking forward to a fun year of riding.
Nice find !!
Ridding is what they were made for enjoy !

If mine hadn't been so messed up I would have left it more original than I did, but I had to knock off some of the ugly. Lol. Your's is super clean! Put some miles on that bad mama jama! Also yours has a pretty cool number.
FYI guys , just had to change my Stator and here's what I found out about our FXDI35....it carries a 50 amp. Stator and a SE. Compensator and rotor. I've got to go through my stuff in my garage and find the parts no. For you all. That was another up grade on our bikes that not a lot of dealers know. Will get back as soon as I get the numbers.
BTW as anyone found a heel/toe shifter for ours?

I was camping a few years ago and there was a couple staying in the next site over, the guy had a bagger hauling a small pop up camper and the lady rode a FXD 35. She parked it right in my line of sight and left it there all weekend, so I sat and stared at it every time I was outside. After 2 days I was in love with that bike.
They have a cool factor to them, but the only thing I would change if I owned one would be the spoke wheels. I never cared for them on any bike.
