Default Fat Bob Front Suspension

So I've been shopping and so far have not found a cartridge kit or upgrade, other than Harley, that fits a 2017 Fat Bob. Am I missing something?

if I remember correctly the fork on a Fat Bob only fits a Fat Bob , 49 mm , some one makes a kit , I have seen a few previous posts with people changing them.

All Dynas 06 and later are 49mm tubes. I think it has something to do with the length. Progressive list one but it's adjustable I believe. I never thought about checking Fox.

After some research on microfiche the Fat Bob has a unique upper tube part number. So maybe I'm right about the length of the tube. I sent a email to Progressive about part # 31-2519. We'll see.

I received a response from Progressive and they say part number 31-2519 does fit my Fat Bob but I'm still concerned because all the vendors I've contacted say it doesn't. So I just sent Progressive another email asking if they guarantee fitment without altering my stock ride height before I pull the trigger.

Honestly man, best bang for the buck and almost working as good as the high end cartridges is the Racetech gold valve emulator and spring kit. I did exactly that on my FatBob front end a couple years ago when it was time for a seal change. Couldn't be happier. Is it as good as a Fox or Ohlins or GP cartridge? No.
But for sure better than Progressive or Legends cartridges and in another solar system compared to stock Harley mushy sometimes and harsh sometimes front end.

Bonus for a huge reduction on brake dive as well.

Just another option for ya.

I have used that Race tech kit before and put springs in for my weight. The best front end I ever owned before.
