Default Clutch Spring Question - 2017 FXDLS

All:

The 2017 FXDLS comes standard with a 37807-03 clutch spring (pink). What will I notice if I go to a 37871-98A spring on the FXDLS?

37803-03 (175 KgF/ 386 lbs/ft)
37871-98A (145 KgF/ 320 lbs/ft)

Will I notice a lot of slippage with the 110 cc engine? Im trying to reduce the pull at the handle without going to a Muller device.

Thanks!

Don't waste money on a Muller device, your 2017 Dyna has an EASY LITE clutch setup from the factory. In my 2007 105" Dyna, running an Alto clutch with OEM spring and HD Primary Oil. NO SLIPPAGE, just solid engagement of gears. My Dyna's pushing over 125 tq and 100 hp. 1st try adjusting the clutch, ya might have to play with the turns out to find the sweet spot. Ya might wanna try changing the control levers first.

YES. The OEM 37882-06A (260 lb) spring handles my 125+ tq and 100+ hp with NO PROBLEM. 2007 Dyna - 105" top end, 10.5:1 CR, SE-255's, Mikuni HSR 42, Thunder Heart Stand Alone Ignition, solid motor sprocket and V&H Big Shots. BEFORE you ASSUME it needs a heavier clutch spring, 1st try the OEM spring. You WILL be surprised. Recently I helped a friend, he went to a Trike and gave his wife his 03 Heritage.
PO did ALL the SE upgrades including the HD clutch. HD quoted him around $1500 to replace it all with an OEM clutch. She could barely pull the lever in. I told him to get an OEM spring and an "easy lite" kit. I supervised his work making sure he did it right. When finished, he did a Test Ride. Grinning from ear to ear all he could say is HOLY **** a 2 finger clutch. Ya only need enough spring pressure to hold it. ANYTHING more is OVERKILL.

So you are suggesting that the OP use the 260 plate in his bike?
