Default 25mm Conversion from 1-in Wheels

**The "Pensacola" Rip**

Hey y'all, first time posting in here. (Been a bible for a long time) so after a lot of searching and not finding anything exactly what I'm looking for, I decided to create this post. I have a 2008 FXDB and I grenaded my rear sprocket which grenaded the wheel. (slight inconvenience at 60+mph. Bluetooth power!) and I said why replace? When instead I can throw more money into the money pit fire?🔥🤘 So I picked up a set of switchblades, from what the seller said came off an '07 SuperGlide. Just trying to find out what needs to happen to covert the 1in wheels over to fit 25mm and where a kit can be bought (if need be). Thanks y'all. (p.s. will be replacing belt, both front and rear sprockets, rear axle, and of course all hardware)

The swingarm and adjusters MIGHT be the same, they are on a Sportster IIRC....if so maybe just an axle and spacers are required. Anyway check out Ronnie's parts finder to see what the differences are, that worked for me when I did a wheel swap.

All you need is a bearing shim that harley sells separately to use with your existing 08 center spacer sleeve and a new set of 25mm bearings or it will be included in the harley wheel installation kit if you choose to go that route.

The important thing to remember is that you need the center spacer out of your current wheels.. If you want to keep those wheels together, you'll have to buy the internal spacer(s) for your current bike..

Well, I don't think he'll care about keeping his Rear wheel together

They are the same width as the early bearings?

I was as coming to the same conclusion, There is a difference of 5mm and the shims take up for that compared to if I was going the other way (25mm to 1in) I would have to get them machined. So for the shims. Did you happen to have a part number? I couldn't find it on the Harley website. And I just press those with the new OEM 25mm bearings for front and rear? Just making sure there's nothing else and I get this done right the first time. Apologies on the very delayed response to this.

The info is in the Thread quoted above (post# 37). Put each shim under the bearing on the rotor side (L. Front, R. Rear). Install those bearings first.

Let me know if you need some of those shims
