Default lithium batteries

Hi everyone, I've purchased a Dyna superglide 2011 with an installed lithium battery and I'm interested in hearing if anyone has had any negative experiences with such a setup.
A couple of week ago the Engine Control Unit completely broke down and, considering it is a real rare event, I've heard some rumors that the Lithium battery could have caused such issue along the time. Have you encountered any issues with the bike's ECU or other electrical systems after switching to a lithium battery? I'm looking for feedback on any compatibility problems or malfunctions that might have arisen post-installation. Your shared experiences and any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the feedbacks guys. This comforts me. My question was because I was trying to determine if there are any external factors that can cause ECU issues like mine that for me would look like as something very rare but it happened :-(

I had an Anti Gravity in my 2008 Street Glide. Lasted 13 months, just one month out of warranty. Was on a tender (bought from Anti Gravity) over the winter, always started until it didn't one day in July in the garage. They offered to sell me a new one at a discount. THUFTTT..... no thanks. Went back to Yuasa and have no issues.

YMMV but I won't get another one. AGM is a great battery platform. 500cca from the Yuasa starts my 124" with no drama. Yuasa 500cca made in USA, Anti Gravity lithium made in China.

I use AGM batteries in my bikes. I'm not ready to try a lithium battery.... yet...

Having said that, the differences between AGM & Lithium are many, but they are both basically 12V power sources.... different designs, different pros & cons, but both 12V sources..

I am no electrical expert, but I have never heard or read anything that suggests the 12v supplied by Lithium batteries differs from other designs in a way that can cause an issue with the electronics they power.....

If there is info about such issues with Lithium, I'd love to hear about it, and read some scientific tests about that issue...

So I’m done with Antigravity batteries..

I’ve been through two of them. The current one is under warranty, but I just don’t care, over it. On one side of heir marketing mouth they say all these grandiose things like “It’s 680 cca powerful”, while through their other side of their mouth, “but don’t use it on big motors that need that power.” What?

So the ATX-20 680 cca battery, according to them on the phone, should only be used when it’s not needed like in a stock anemic powered engine.. so why bother having all that cranking power if in the fine print they say only use it in stock motors? Stupid… then they highly recommended their discontinued YTX-20 saying that’s the one I wanted. I pointed out they discontinued it to their tech support while they looked my statement up to discover I was correct. When I bought the ATX-20 they recommended it so I’d have protection and bragged about its power to turn my 127 over.. only later to back pedal saying I should go with the discontinued battery that has no protection. “You know, the ones that catch on fire and burn your bike to the ground”

Nope the warranty is useless because they don’t have a battery I want. 6 months cost me $300.00
