Default Need suspension uprade recomendations for a 06 fxdl/i

Bought a 06 low rider so I could still ride last fall after I hit a deer and the bike was in the shop (for way too long) I enjoy the bike but at 25K miles, it definately needs new shocks. I've spent Ohlins money in the past for my road glide, just don't know if it's neded for a dyna. Not that I can't spend it again, just don't know if the price is worth the improvement vs Revo-a or such.

So, dyna people, what do you recomend for rear and front?

Check out Bitubo. Ohlins performance without the Ohlins price. Also, you need better shocks for a Dyna over a RG.

Progressive makes a decent suspension and they’re priced much lower than Ohlins.

There, gleaned it up for you

What color is it, how's 'bout posting a picture of it?

Put on the very best you can afford on the rear, the front, whatever, I run stock but many swear by upgrades.

You do that and Stage II and wash/wax/wheelie and your tourer will languish in either your garage or the shop

Welcome to the cool kids

I'll post a pic when I get home. Black, with chrome Bassani 2->1 exhaust, black S&S stinger intake. Have Memphis Shades fairing and a Edward Ritchie sissy bar to install, but the sissy bar will get done with shocks. Think the front needs help, have bottomed out once, and it's too loose. Probably going to stop at shocks. My fxbbs is in the process of getting a S&S 132, bassani exhuast, S&S 475 cam, dyno tune. I really just want to keep this for a solid communter bike in nicer weather, since my new 2500 Silverado sucks for gas mileage. (Doesn't suck towing my camper like the 1500)
