Default Question on neons/leds

I have an 07' street bob, and am looking to add some led/neons to reflect off the motor, and maybe on the ground. Does anyone have pictures of their leds? Locations? Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

some pics... do not use Neons they drain to much power and you will find yourself push starting you bike... it may look cool sitting there but it is not so cool when you have to push it to get it running!

Boogey Lights has some really informative videos on line that show where and how to install the LEDs. I bought mine from Custom Dynamics. Installed nine pods in about an hour. If you don't go overboard, it looks really good.

I found them very insightful. I've seen people pay lots of money for installers who place the pods in plain sight rather than where just the reflective glow can be seen. If oyu don't do it yourself, find someone credible like JRK to do it for you.

Default RE: Question on neons/leds

I posted this on your duel post but i figured i would cut and paste it as well to make things easier:
hey bud just do a search... do not use Neons... Use LeD's i can get you a great price on some! but there are alot of companys that make them... you want high intensity LED's with wide spread, the trick is to make the light bounce and a propper job you should not see one light just the glow! Let me know if you need any additional help.... angle'n the light is the trick... get the angle right and that light will just make the bike glow... if not it will just shine on it. 15 pods will make a bike crazy bright to just do a motor and maybe drive line, i would say you could get away with 10 and it would be real good!.... oh ya and just hard line it in with a switch and a fuse.... that way you can have them on when the bike is totally off... they use such little power draw you will be fine with them on all night, i have left mine on for 2 dyas and the bike started no problem... Solder everything and shrink wrap it... do the job right so that later you are not hunting to see why one light is out or trying to figure out why they are not turning on.... i have done a TON of bikes.... do it right do it once.... take you time and it will pay off 10 fold down the road!
