RE: 07 bob passenger pegs??
I did mine myself as well. Did not have to loosen up the belt or any thing like alot of people have already said. The only thing that I would sugest not to scratch anything is to cover up the tool with a cloth. Other than that just take the caps off and install new brackets. Its that easy!

To scare people into taking it to the dealer for installation?

I wonder why HD would even suggest this. Why don't they include an allen type star wrench in the kit.

A good set of pegs does wonders. I use the skull set and wife thinks they are great. Also, the stock pegs are just as good. Thick rubber.

RE: 07 bob passenger pegs??
another vote derived from experiance to no need for touching the wheel or loosening the belt
just be carefull and gentle dealingwith the left side.
anyone heard of grinding the little step in the peg mounting brackets that stops the pegs when folded and keeps them at 90deg to make the pegs fold tighter/closer to the bike?
(i hope i explained myself clearly enough)

RE: 07 bob passenger pegs??
Thank you everyone...it took a little longer then expected because the stealership forgot to give me the 1 1/2 in bolt that connects the pegs to the mounts, So I call them and ask what size it was and they tell me 1 inch.....so after buying the one inch bolt which is the WRONG SIZE I said F it and went riding with just the mounts attached......Overall very easy install thank again....pics coming soon!
