Hey Jake, Went to order the side mount plate from kury and it says fits up to 2005. Did you have to modify the mount bracket to get it to work?? I called kury and they said it would'nt fit.

Well, I finally got around to taking some more pics (I've got to get a better camera...)

Rob, it fit without modding it to the best of my knowledge. Every step of the way if there was an issue with something, the dealership has talked to me about it. I told them that according to Kury it would only fit up to an 05. They wouldn't have ordered it if it wouldn't fit because I told them I wasn't going to pay to buy it only to have it not fit.

If you look closely at the assembly, you can see the chrome clamp where it clamps around the swingarm.

 

This is where I started since I bought the bike used last March. And these are the most current pics I have. I have since added new mirros, a 2" tank lift and a powdercoated black headlight ring. My camera took a dump so now I have to pick up a new one. More to come though. Black short shots, fuel management (haven't decided between SERT or PC3), more powdercoat, new seat (C&C Lo Pro Solo or Lepara Barebones), and forward controls.

What did you do to get the front end raked out like that? Chop the neck? Add raked triple clamps? Both?
