Just wondering if anyone out there experiances the same problems. I ride a 06 S/B about 30 miles a day to work and back. During this time it is mostly country road (asphalt). I have had a problem with getting major roar grime on the pipes and it takes a lot of elboe grease and a a product named Never Dual to get it off. Wondering if there is a better product that works without dulling the chrome finish.

 

try wd40 seems to work on everything else

 

bug and tar remover found in auto section. For tar related grime. Also I use mothers mag /aluminum polish to get off any exhaust residue on the bottom of the rear pipe from the front.
+1 on wd40 it does seem to work on everything (have not tried it for road grime though)

Try the Mister Clean Magic Eraser. Works great and is pretty easy.
