Don't know if this helps, but I had the stock MotoCo ones on for a week after I put on my 16" Apes. There was quite a bit of play in them (front/back) I'd say about 2 1/2 inchs in each direction. Put the Poly's in after a week and all the play was gone except for a hair. THe stock one's were black, the poly's were almost clear.

These are the same bushings I just put in mine. Bought them from the same guy.. BIG difference.. Not all Polly is clear, red, yellow, translucent, etc.... Push your thumbnail into the bushings. The new ones should have less give.. Put them in, for the money, you cant go wrong even if you dont like them.. I'm completely satisfied with mine and I've got 18" apes, no movement at all compared to the stock ones..

Thanks, HGM. That helps - I'll give 'em a try before jumping to any more conclusions.

Regardless, they were only 12 bucks after shipping, so its not like I'll have to dip into the kids college fund.

Yea, when I saw the dealer wanted $40 for theirs, it was an easy choice...Mine were in a Mid South shrink package marked Heavy Duty.. Like I said, best $12 I ever spent on the bike...

I just installed HD polys when I changed my bars totally different stock rubbers popped right out.
I had to tap the polys in with a mallet and block of wood. They are much stiffer.

Hey ShoreRider, you like them Arlen flush-mounts, are they worth it? Do they really clear up the under-side of the top tree?
TIA,

I got the GoodenTite poly bushings and yeah, much stiffer - you should really notice it. A bit more vibration but no slop, just don't over torque the riser bolts or you'll end up with virtually solid bushings and a lot of vibration (comparatively speaking).
