Havean 03 Wide Glide andhave been having problems with battery going down when riding, kept happening. Had battery tested under load, its good. You guys gave me some good stuff on doing thelogical tests, disconnected stator from regulator, put on the meter, started bike and the stator is putting outgood stuff. Checked it for shorts and grounds and it is fine. Only leaves the regulator, "right". Or did I miss a turn here.Put a new Cycle Electric Regulator on, plugged it back into the stator, made sure the ground was good, hooked up the meter again and started it up, Iget zip back at the battery. I can't believe the new regulator is bad. But there were three of us standing around scratching our head, and sometimesour ***.Two six packs are gone and we still haven't figured out what we are missing.

somebody tell me what I'm missing, I know its something simple.

 

very possible you got a bad reg.i had a bad new one off the shelf accell brand
