Engine oil is this one: (My frame is blue, oilpan is black) The one facing down (underneath) is the trans oil. Have fun with the oil filter; watch that wire nearby...

Welcome to the forum...

One word of advice I am sure you will see time and time again....go to the dealership and buy a service manual. Best $60 you will ever spend on your bike.

Hey Weedy, welcome.
I too have a 99 FXD. The manual is a must have.
My bike came with one, otherwise I would get one. But if you need anything I can look it up for you.
But hey, I'm thinking you need to change the oil in all three holes. Motor, trans, and primary chaincase. Use the search function on the site. You will find lots of info ina short period.
How many miles on the Dyna and where are you from?
