On a touring bike they might notice because the rear cylinder connector is plainly visible once the side cover is removed. I doubt they would notice on my Night Train though. The front one I have mounted beneath the plastic cover and looped behind the voltage regulator. The rear sensor connector is in a hidden recess beneath the oil tank.
