Went out for a nice afternoon ride for coffee with the wife the other day (motorcycle hookie). When I got home and parked the bike, I took off my jacket, and laid it across my seat. About 5 minutes later I walked into the garage and the arm was laying on top of my rear header heat shield. Needless to say, I have the first idiot mark on the chrome. So not to start yet another how to clean pipes thread (sorry Jake [8D] ) what do you suggest:
1. WD-40 + fine steel wool
2. Oven cleaner
3. Leave it because chicks dig scars and just come up with a better story than, "I was an idiot."
