Default Saddlebag support

Tried the search with no real definite results, so here goes.

I'd like to put on a set of Willie & Max deluxe compact slant bags. With that size, I figure I won't have to move the taillights. I've got the quick detach sissy bar and it needs that stalk.

So what are my options for support?I'm sure there has to be something there, or does there? What is everybody using, and how minimal is the impact on the bike?

You should be able to tie them down without any additional support. I've got the larger bags on mine, granted I've moved the directionals, but I've got no additional support and they're rock solid.

Yeah, I'm going with a T-Bag as well. I just wanted something to hang off the sides when the wife rides. The T-bag will be for work. No way a saddlebag will hold all that crap.

I have the compact slants on mine with no supports and the left one rubbed the paint off the belt guard. The right one rubs on the brake caliper. I am presently looking myself because I will be doing the taillight relocation kit and getting bigger bags.
