Default Dyno time

Had my Bob dynoed on Thursday, first time i,ve been in there whilst its happening. If i,m honest its a little scary on the first run when when your bikes wound right up i swear the ground was shaking. After the initial run i gotta say i enjoyed the whole experience, took approx 3 hours.
The end result was 73.9 BHP and 91.4 ft-lbs TORQUE.
Thats fitted with Shortshots with quiet baffles and mute cones,Big Sucker and Power Commander.
Never thought i,d see it but the 4th, 5th, 6th, gear speeds atpeek BHP were, 95, 114, and 133 mph.
The overall gains on the canned map are 71.6-73.9 BHP and 88.1-91.4 ft-lbs torque.
Virtually all the decel popping has gone, although the tuner wants to "tweek" this out if possible in a couple of days when i can get there.

Sounds like your tuner did good. I got 76 hp and 96 hp with similar set-up: V&H short shots staggered, quiet baffles, SE Stage 1 intake w/K&N filter, and SERT. Ditto on the backfires and popping, virtually eliminated. Had to leave my bike overnight so it could cool down between runs as he couldn't start until mid afternoon on the first day. Sounds like a excellent tuner if he wants you to stop in for some further tweeking to get her spot on. Congrats!

Great #s for what you have done to her. And ditto on the tuners action for the cool down. What did they charge you?

Sounds like you have a very competent tuner there.
I Know what the quiet baffles are but what are mute cones?

Hi Airborne they are short pipes 2 1/2" long i fitted inside the "quiet" baffles, (you cansee them in the back of sports bike race cans)They take the top edge / rasp off, where i live and the times i,m out i was getting some hassle so i made these up and its done the trick.

Nice. I do not have the ability to make those. I hade to take off my Big Shot staggereds as they will not pass the TUV inspection in Germany. I have the slipons now with quiet baffles so if they do not pass I can easliy switch them out. What type of wire is wrapped around the baffle? I know it is apain to pull out the quiest baffle once the tape burns off.

It,s steel tally wire nothing special. As you say the tape soon falls to bits so i thought i,d try this.
