Default Rust

I was wondering if you could help me out with another situation. I recently purchased a product called Hammerite, which is very similar to Rustoliom. I wanted to prevent some rust that was on my bike from spreading and getting any worse. The spot that I placed the Hammerite on is found by removing the seat, and is located in an area were that metal piece of the seat slides into a groove the gas tank. Now my question to you is, (if you know were I’m talking about) sense the Hammerite is located so close to the engine will it eventually run off onto my bike due to the heat, or should it be ok and stay were it is. Here is the website that can explain to you about what Hammerite is. Thanks for your help. http://www.hammerite-automotive.com/
