using the blinkers as tails, installed a run, brake, and turn module from harley for around $50 and shortened the harness and mounted all of the plugs from the factory tails under the seat, I also had to lengthen the turn signal wires but nothing to difficult involved in that

Default wife's Street Bob

just finished my wife's bike today. Lowered 2 inches with the Burly Slammer kit. I chopped the rear fender, lost the taillight and relocated the blinkers to the swingarm.

Default Filled in fender

STREETBOBKID,

The bike with the filled in fender looks great! Did you do thw work yourself or a body guy do it. If so how is it holding up? I am trying to figure out something different for my rear fender.

Don't be scared. Just cut it. Seriously, forum member yocumbros has a very sweet looking rear fender set up on his. Very nicely done.

All you did is very nice.
I wish to do the same with my 2010 fxdwg
i want to remove the brake light and keep the strut but I dont see how to cut the original fender.
The original shape is kind of weird
