Default a silly request...

'07 wide glide

...but is there any chance anyone can measure the distance between the rubber down the center on the front tire and the fender...in the front and in the rear....should be same, but not sure

here's the thing.... i took my stock one off and mocked up a Russ Wernimont one, but didn't measure the distance the fender ought to idealy be off the tire

would be much appreciated if someone could do this for me.... i have the fender centered everywhere else otherwise and it took me forever... i don't want to disturb it, say for pressing down on it a bit to get a proper distance

thanks, in advance, to anyone who'll honor this silly request!

I would imagine there is not much difference with the 05 and 07, I have 1/2" clearance on mine to the tire, but then mine is not stock tire or fender. Set it where it looks best to you.

Just replaced my front tire 3500 miles ago. Crown of tire and bottom of fender (clearance) at the front of the fender is 1 3/16 inch, at the rear of the front fender it was 1 1/16 inch.
Is that what you were looking for?

Well, my '04 WG measures 1 9/16 in the front and 1 3/8 in the back. That's the front and back of the FRONT fender, right?

Damn, from everyone else's measurements, looks like they are running the front tire much closer on newer models.

Jet, did you rake your front end? Looks more angled to me for some reason. Could be it's just an illusion.
