i shopped around on the net to get the best price on black 412's and think i ended up getting 2nd's. they had gouges that were painted over at the factory. seller wouldn't return calls or emails...live and learn i guess.
but now they have started squeaking when i sit on it or move it without motor running. cant hear it while riding thanks to wind and pipes.
anyone else have this problem and can i lube them somehow to make it stop?

 

i had the same thing just a couple of weeks ago.i have the stock hd shocks but mine were squeking during travel.mines still under warrenty so i let the shop worrie about mine.they just sprayed some penatrating lube on the shock shaft(ie. wd40 or like).plus not sure how big of a guy you are but you may need to stiffing the preload up.to keep it from travling so much.hope this help
