i used them with the stock signals, the only thing you have to do is replace the bolt that comes with the clamp its a course thread and you need a fine thread with the stock signals.

Clay, which signal brackets do you have? the ones out of the drag specialties catalog or the kuriaken ones in the picture? I would like to know too if the kuri units will work with stock turn signals....

I'm using the same type that BlackOak has. Very clean and much less clutter around the bars.

Get some Turn Signal Mirrors.....really cleans up the front end. I got these off ebay for a 100 bucks

i got them out of a drag specialties cataloge but the part is made by kuryakn. It is the only 49mm fork braket available to my knowledge. They work great easy to put on, but i personally dont like the look, i think it takes away from the clean looking fork, and i love the way those new 49mm tubes look. I am going to go with the mirrors with signals in them, they look the best in my opinon, and by the time you buy the braket and the new signals you could have bought the mirrors.

Suggestion........the wiring in the Turn Signal Mirrors is very small. Take a Cat 5 cable ( computer network cable) peel it open and take out 4 strands of the cabling. Its a perfect match for the the mirror wiring.

Good tip BlackOak. I have plenty of CAT 5 lying around here. The thicker wire was a PITA to feed into the bars especially with the soldered splices.
