I have Rinhart 2-1 exhaust and the Ness air cleaner you see in my sig pic. Always had some popping and the occasional loud bang on decel, even with the stock parts.

Just shimmed my carb needle, put in a #46 jet (though I think I might need a 50...mine had a 48 in it already for some reason), and checked the main jet (190).

Still getting the decel popping. Anyone have tips?

 

Try turning out your AFR screw about 1/4 - 1/2 turn out. Should be good to go.
