Default rear drive belt

What is the normal mileage the rear drive belt should be replaced? I have been told the belt will last to 100,000 miles if taken care of. My 95 Wide Glide belt shows no wear.
Thanks in advance,
Jeff

Most get well over 100K, there are a few (very few) that have picked up rocks and shredded them early.

Lost mine at about 60,000. It had had a rock hole in the middle of it for a long time. Had a friend that lost his at about 50,000. His might have been partially due to having a sidecar, and not having the upgraded belt that is designed for sidecars.

There are some on this forum that have 100,000 and are still going strong.

Regards,

Bill

a lot depends on how you ride, holeshots, burnouts and powershifts come into play!
