When I replaced my clutch cable I thought the ***** were seated, but couldn't get enough slack to mount the cable in the perch until after I did the clutchpack adjustment. I think that is what set everything right, because after the clutchpack was adjusted I had enough slack to adjust the cable where it needed to be. Glad you got it done!
