Question on Serial number

I just bought a 2008 105th FXDC for my wife pre-owned from an HD dealer. During delivery we noticed the tank plate said the bike was no. 0001/2000. I was wondering if this adds any value to the bike, or just a novelty?

As with anything collectable, it's worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If you find someone who wants that, they would be willing to pay extra to get it. For others, they could care less.
