hey just bought a pair of seII slip ons for 45 bucks off ebay for my 08 fxd

2 questions is ths a good deal?
do i need to remap my bike once i put them on

Depends on what you are after. From what I have heard, the SEII slip-ons, are not much louder than stock.

No you won't need a remap for just them.

That's wrong. They are much louder than stock. I have a set. $45 is a very good deal.

You only need a remap if you change the air cleaner.

if there are the old SE2 they are alot louder than stock.and if you go with a differnt air filter. then you should remap it or go with a fuel mangenment.but other wise no but they are very good muffler's. i have had them on my bike since day one.

I didn't think they made SEII with the removable baffle anymore, you might want to double check what they are sending you. They are an awsome slipon though wife had them on her 03 lowrider

I have a friend who took the baffles out of his SE Slip-ons and it sounded GREAT!

They come with baffles rivetted to muffler, baffles would rattle a little inside muffler, I cut out rivets and screw them to mufflers. Got mine for $46, scrubb with toothbrush and Shout.
