Default Need help/part numbers for hand controls

I need the deutsch connectors, switches and wiring (black w/ white letters), and the terminal housing that plugs in under the tank. All the kits I find say they are only for up to 2006 models. I have a 2007. I want to leave my apes internally wired and built a new set for my drag bars. Harley OEM is out because they want around $300 for the parts. Let me know whats out there and why most only go up to 06'. Thanks, and bah humbug!

THe difference between the 06 and 07 and up models may be the neutral safety switch built into the left hand control. I can't remember if this neutral switch was introduced in 07 or in 08.

You may have to look at trying to find a take-off left hand control with the neutral switch to avoid the Harley raping.

First off, you're barking up the wrong tree,
calling out for Deutsch.

They changed to Molex in 07.

The HD handlebar control kits come with both Molex and Deutsch,
Price is 127.96
The kit comes with everything.

As for the neutral safety switch,
the housings come set up for the we'll protect you from yourself feature,
and you either use it or you don't..... works either way.

Wow, the HD guy I talked to on the phone said that the MOCO didn't sell a complete kit. He priced each component out individually and it was around $300. Do you have a part# ?
Also, thank for the heads up on the molex. I could have sworn the were deutsch...I will have to dig into the service manual.

*EDIT*... The part number is 70239-07. $159. It comes with the switch housings as well, but I don't need them. It seems wierd that the kit would cost more WITHOUT the switch housing than with them included. Never hurts to have extras I guess.
