Many thanks for the drawings. Shouldn't be a problem carving one of those out.

bobber, clutch replacement??
no write up of mine. I'll be getting in there soon. Try to do it then.
Follow the manual, it's not a big deal.
Pay attention to the order that the discs and plates come out.
Soak discs if installing new ones.
Screaming Eagle spring is a good upgrade (if needed).
On the hiPower builds also add the VPC.
.
ipb location??
behind the seal in the first picture
(this is the back side of the inner primary case)

Might as well show my race puller
the inner bearing rides on this race.
It is a real MortarForker getting this race off.

It can also be cut off,
that's a touchy operation

Thanx mud i apreciate it...i have a very and i mean very slow leak i think coming from that seal on the ipb. It only leaks after a 200-300 mile ride maybe 3 or 4 drops under the primary after sitting overnight. But the back of the primary is definatly wet....

With the proper dimensions I could set out making one, that is, unless I would be money and time ahead just buying it.
Ever think about using a tie wrap on it and then after it's in place cutting the tie wrap?

I want to thank all who replied to this thread, my shifter arm has been loose for awhile, needs to be replaced. Was caught between dealer and garage. New here and always amazed at the amount of knowledge at this site. Thanks again.

That leak could also be coming from the transmission seal.

yeah 04 I wish I had heliArc handy again as well.
The puller is fused with my little wire feed machine

Don't remember if Psycho said some of the other rollers were damaged, or not.

Bart, that's exactly how it's done if you don't have the tool.

Glad you like the pix.

bobber, I should have typed that out. . VPC . Variable Pressure Clutch...
http://www.aim-tamachi.com/home.php?cat=3

The harder the motor hits,
the tighter the clutch discs and plates are clamped together.

Don't need it unless you gotta lotta motor.

VPC device is the green arrow below.

Red arrow is the Screaming Eagle Spring..........
