Also in the garage...'93 ZX-11 and '02 ZX-12R. Yes, sometimes I feel the "need for speed" and a different type of riding. As long as I can afford it, I will always have different classes of bikes. I've been ridin' the Fat Bob a lot lately and find that I have to kinda relearn how to ride the 11 or 12 when I first get on them... different handling, different acceleration, different braking and definitely different "kick in the rear" power.

I used to ride a 2006 Yamaha R1. it was one hell of a ride, but 1 mm in wrist movement was like a difference in 20mph. Everyone is right about double to triple the speed limit. It was hard to do 60mph on something that went 110 in 1st gear. i loved the machine and love dragging a knee but there comes a point when i needed to be realistic. It was a track bike and since i dint have a track anywhere close to me, i couldn't use the street as one. my father always had a Harley when i was growing up so i figured i would live life with one of his motto's "look good going slow and sounding good so everyone can see who you are". so i traded the R1 for my Wide Glide on the other week. so far i haven't looked back but i did ream her for all she was worth the last 2 miles i had it. amazingly the comp cut it out at a top of 186. I am really enjoying the Dyna now though, so much torque and so comfortable. anyways heres a couple pics of both

Dont mind the driveway in the middle of doing some work on the house so its a little messy

I just sold this bike this winter. It's one of the best street bikes ever made IMO, but it's just not the kind of riding that I'm really into these days.

It was mint, 2003 FZ1 with 9300 miles, jet kit, exhaust, and some other goodies, and I gave it away for $4600.

I always had a thing for those bikes, but the short range always steered me away.

I had an 87 Ninja 600rx back in the day and logged 50,000 on it in 8-9 years. I got so many tickets on that thing..

when I bought my first harley I was actually after an 07 Busa... then reflected back on the money I had given Sheriff Joe and how many times I lost my licence do to points, and the sr22 insurance i had to have for years... i got the HD instead.

funny thing is.. in rush hour, i still ride the same.. split cars, ride on the far left shoulder past the carpool lane in gridlock, do 80+ everywhere i go....lmao

If i had a Busa...whew
