I was just wondering if anyone has a sport bike in the stable for a change of pace once in a while. I used to ride a CBR900 and to be honest, sometimes I miss it. I love nothing more than the feeling of being on my HD, but sometimes I just wanna hit some back roads on something that handles a lot better. Buell xb9r has my interest... at least then all by riding buddies won't make fun of me lol.
I have a GSXR 600 that site right beside my Fat bob.. Hasnt seen the road sence i got my harley though.. Dont know when and if i will get the itch anytime soon..
I'm about to pull the trigger on a 2008 Ducati Monster. Got an appointment with my sales guy for a test ride this weekend. The 09's just came out 2 weeks ago and the remaining 08's are cheap right now! $10K for the 08 vs almost $15K for the 09.
It's gonna take an act of God to make me change my mind this Saturday.
I had an R6, but got rid of it because I jsut wasn't comfortable on it and my wrist would hurt after long rides. I haven't really missed it. I did think of getting a buell, but I think it's going more of a trophey in the garage vs riding.

I'm guessing you are looking at the twin plug air cooled 1000? any way you cut it they are an awesome ride, but that would be the one i have to own. i have always had a sporty jap ride in the garage and currently do not. after i figure out what bike my girlfriend needs to have (or get a camper) i'm gonna look long and hard at the new monster!
good luck and post some pics when you pick it up...
