I just got my sideplates and sissybar purchased and put on last week!!!!!!

I feel your pain, man. I can't count how many things h-d sells in chrome only that I've had to powder coat (including the same side plates!) The cost adds up....

Like others have said, you should be able to return them. It's a pain in the a$$ but it shouldn't cost you much, if any. You can always powder coat what you've got, too!

Just tell the wife that they were always black and that she must be confused.

 

I just priced the black ones for the fat bob yesterday. The parts guy had to look them up on computer. They were not in the 09 book so he said they don't make em. Bad when you gotta tell them about parts.
