Default How do I do this?

Hiya gang,

Got a one-piece two-up seat. How do I put the screw on the back piece that holds it down on the rear fender? How do I get that little thing the screw screws into on the inside of the fender, to stay so I can put the seat on? (I sure hope this made sense!)

yep made sense, you got the pcs with the threads and a black plastic retainer clip. What you to is take a zip tie or wire and slide the threaded pcs on it if use wire make little loop so the threaded pcs doesn't fall off. feed the wire up under the fender and thru the hole on the fender and slowly pull the threaded pcs into place put the black clip on and slide the wire back down out of the fender and your done.

Use a small cable tie, fish it through the bottom of the "screw thingy" then fish then end of the tie through the underside of the fender.

I just screw the hold down bolt into it about 1-2 threads, then pull the c-clip. Unscrew the bolt and let the piece drop onto the tire and roll onto the floor, then put it in the new hole and screw the bolt into it a little to give you something to grab. Pull it up and replace the c-clip. Done. I later bought an extra one so I don't have to swap them, I needed the second one to mount a fender bib anyway.

Hey, great! Thanks a bunch you guys! Damn it's good to be able to ask for help and actually get it and actually have enough people around to *give* it!
