Mine was a little tricky to find at first, but it's getting easier as I ride the bike

I went to the dealer and asked him about it. He said if it was still hard after around 1000 miles to bring it in, but that it IS normal- he said "everything is really tight at first, it'll loosen up". As soon as he said that, the Bobber started letting me put it in neutral at idle. I had not ridden since I posted it it, so either the bike is psychically linked to Harley Davidson Toronto or it reads the forums.

If figure the bike reads these forums. That's what I figure.

Just change the oil at a thousand miles and get used to having the right touch to get it into neutral. It's kinda like getting used to a different woman.Name: efd65180.jpg

MY 03 Superglide Sport was a little hard to get into neutral too when it was new. But after the first check the problem seemed to work itself out. Had a little trouble with the neutral switch but that was just for the indicator light. If it keeps up get it checked.
Keep the rubber side down.

Hey Whiff
What exactly did they do to yours to fix the problem?
