Does anyone out there know of a smoked tail light lens cover for the 2009 FXDB Street Bob? I have the turn signal smoked lens covers but all that I can find for a smoked tail light lens is for the 06-08 Street Bob (lay down assembly). It would be nice to smoke out the tail light on my 09 Bob.

 

If you have an 09 bob with the sparto style light you are stuck with the red brake light. The taillight is a solid unit. If you have an 08 bob there are a few options availably. Check out www.customdynamics.com or Kuryakyn.

 

you can always have all of the stock lenses smoked by a good painter... if done by someone who is not familiar with the process, they will screw it up and your lights will be all fogged out... but if done right, they can be wet sanded and polished to perfection. it is simply a little black mixed in with some clear coat to make a transparent black paint. anyone who has done it before can generally do a light, medium, or dark.... i can email you some pics of my bagger if you want.. i am just about to do my 2011 FXDB
