Default Smoke lense for tail light on 2012 Street Bob?

I recently bought a 2012 Street Bob. I started looking into getting smoke lenses but can not find any for the tail light. Does anyone know where to buy smoke lenses for the tail light of the new model Street Bobs? Thanks

Quick answer, there aren't any. I looked into removing that lens and internals removed and the manual says they are pressed in and don't come out. It's an led light so no need to change the bulb, hence no removal of the lens.

I tinted my stock taillight. My buddy did it on his and gave me the rest of the can to use on mine.

This is the stuff I used.

Yep this is the stuff you will have to use since already mentioned the lamp doesn't come apart. You will have to mask everything off and use the VHT nite shade to darken the red lamp until you think it is good enough. But note to OP use this stuff lightly and use very light coats and give ample drying time between coats.

But on a side note you can get smoked lenses for the turn signals, as Harley and aftermarket companies make them.

I'm pretty sure there is a "how to" write up somewhere in the forum.

I used VHT on my BMW tail lights back in the day, and it's a great product, just take your time and prep properly and you will get a good results.
