I had smoked lenses with orange bulbs and effect was OK.

I since changed to LED signals just to blow more money, not really a necessity just don't have to worry about replacing bulbs now.

Now that's funny... Probably one of the truest statements on this forum...

I've always known bikers to be the most generous bunch and sounds like we're all doing our part to stimulate the economy.

I've got smoked lenses and colored LED's. Went with LED's mostly because I had trouble finding red standard bulbs for the brake/turns and I didn't want the red lenses. The picture shows them in run mode but I think the flash kind of exagerated the effect cause they're not that bright until you hit the brakes. They're plenty red and the front turns are plenty yellow.

Amber 1157's look a plenty through google. I believe those are the ones that look like they're coated in a chrome finish. Just so ya know, they're available.

[EDIT] I mean red 1157, not amber. Amber is yellow.

I've tried the Irudium chrome one and the standard red one. Both were not bright enough, had to drop another $20 on a LED bulb. Now it's Bright enough!

"Had trouble finding" meant I was impatient....AutoZone had the red LED's for $10/pr and they were right in front of me. Of course, then I had to get the amber 1156 LED's for ~$20 off Ebay and a load equalizer for ~$20 and trim the front signal reflector so they'd fit and...and...and...okay, so Bobber S was right, I wanted to blow some dough and LED's look cool...
