Default FXDL A/C mods

Let's see some modified football A/C's. I am thinking about turning mine into a round one and wanted to get some ideas.

Looks sweet bro. Did you cut it with a cut-off wheel or machine it?

I used a Dremel and cutoff wheel, took about 30 minutes.

Mike

All those photos you see have a Screamin Eagle back plate that has the integrated rocker box breather system ....

So, if you do a cover cut off job, you still gotta figure out the 'inside' angle ... I'm using a Sifton mounting system I found in the V-Twin Mfg. catalog (P/N 34-0705) and got through Discount Cycle Parts for $99.87 plus shipping ....

Tab,
I'm not following you. Is the stock element football shaped? Mine looks just like this except it doesn't have the chrome bolts. The element on mine looks the same ,except for the color. What are you talking about the inside angle?
