I just use some strategically placed boards to "fill in the gaps" and keep everything level. Simple as pie and cost me nothing.

One corner of the frame is lower than the other three. Lifting your bike without something to compensate for the difference will cause it to be unstable. The adapters don't make it any more stable. I can't stand them. They've seperated on me before while the bike was on the jack. Not good.

I have had no problem using the adapter. You can get them on ebay or from your dealer. I would go the ebay route.

I've got the same jack and the HD dyna frame adapters and they both work just fine for my purposes. I can get my bike on and off the lift with no help from anyone else. It's pretty stable but always use straps just in case.

I've got the Sears yellow jack and use the HD adapters also. They seemed kinda tricky at first but after the first time I used them it is easy to put them under the bike and roll the jack under the bike and start jacking it up while I sit on it. After the jack makes contact with the bike and raises it slightly I get off the bike and jack it up the rest of the way.

I use the same thing, I juat cut a notch in a board for the frame to fit into and use one board under the primary side rear, everything balances out.
