Very nice. What kinda deal you get on the 09, if you don't mind sharing?

i went for a very deeply discounted 2009 and got full msrp on the
trade so the upgrade to the fdxc only ran $2k plus tax and shipping.

nice!!!

Congratulations on the new bike. I went through several dual sport and sport bikes before I bought my new FXD in June. No doubt the Super Glides are the best value in the Harley world. Big V-twin, great handling... pretty much everything you could want without paying a fortune. Enjoy.

Hi, Sarge;

The MSRP on the XL1200C was 10,489 so that was my trade in value.

This weekend there was a nation-wide 3-day clearance sale on remaining
2009 bikes that offered either $1,000 in accessories or $1,000 off purchase
so I combined my trade in, a dealer discount and the $1,000 allowance to
get the bike as it sits in the picture for $12,300.

Of course I'm going to drop a couple grand almost immediately in finishing it
since all I really bought was the "Starter Kit"...
