Default Pro Taper dirt bike bars on a Dyna

Is there anybody here running them? If so, how do you like them and how about some pics.

I really like the look of the Pro Tapers on a Harley. I wonder what bend those are?

You could get real close to the same look, but stay with the HD we-had-to-be-different 1" bars by going with a set of Night Rod(V-Rod) bars. Pro Tapers(and their clones) come in either 1-1/4" or 7/8". Guys do it on XR's all the time, but you need to either run adapters on everything that connects to your bars, or buy new controls. You'd also need either new bar mounts, or an upper triple with the right-sized mount built in.

The problem with Most harley bars is there is too much pullback. I like a straighter dirt bike style bar.

Here are some bad cell phone pics of my bars. They are not dirt bike bars but kinda look like them. They have almost no pullback. They feel good to me. I had to replace the mirrors with the long stem so I could see.

Joker Machine makes a riser for pro tapers
http://www.jokermachine.com/auxphoto...p?Aux=1&ID=584

and Chassis Design Company makes some cool "Dirt Bike" bars that are similar to pro tapers and don't have much pullback

http://www.chassisdesigncompany.net/...arts_bars.html

Don't expect a very professional response from chassis design. I got some parts from them and all of the e-mail traffic was very "DUDE" "SWEET" like but they have some good stuff.
