Can anybody tell me if a 2002 FXD tank will bolt up to a 98 FXD. I think they are the same up to this point but need to make sure before I buy the 02 tank. Thanks Rick

 

if they are both carbed , yes they will

 

Thanks alot Man...I really appreciate it...I just bought a new tank for some custom paint. I like to keep the original parts I take off whenever I do custom work. The tank is a brand new OEM never mounted for 100.00. I don't think its a bad deal? Rick

Its been sitting on a shop shelf and has been moved around quite a bit so the guy said it has scratches in the paint but nothing more which he showed me in pics but other then that its new. I'm repainting anyway so I thought it was a good deal. He ended up selling it to me for 99.00. and 13.00 shipping...

 

Good deal. I see beat up tanks on EvilBAY all the time for upwards of $200.
