Question Question about tank lift.

I'm making my own tank lift, about 1-1/2" my question is when I try to lift up the the tank it only moves up about a 1/2" seems the wire and stuff get tight. What else do I need to do to get this thing to move?

The vacuum line is connected to the frame neck. Just pull it loose from the frame and you should have plenty of slack.

I always tell people to disconnect the fuel line at the quick disconnect...mine cracked at the TB from lifting it up.

Had to replace the line.

Sounds as though you might have lifted it to high.

When I was doing some wiring work in the back bone I forgot to disconnect that fuel line and snapped it at the connector. A forum member helped me out with a replacement...

Learn from my mistakes, when the bolts come out of the tank use the quick disconnect...
