I have had a 2" tank lift waiting to be installed for a while now. I tried it once but it didn't quite fit with the steel braided cross-over line that I have. I thought I read somewhere that you can bend the posts for the cross-over to gain clearance. Anyone done this. Looking fo some advice. Thanks
I had the same problem with mine too.
I ditched my braided line for a rubber fuel line when I put on my tank lift.
Still looking for a nice replacement.
I bent the posts done a little after putting on 2" lift, wasn't a big deal. Did it a couple of times a little bit each time, just enough so the crossover wasn't rubbing against frame. Wrapped rag around postsand gently bent down with pliers, they bend down easily and you only have to do it a little to get clearance. Peace.
I'm having the same problem. I thought I saw somewhere that they made different lenght braided crossover lines, for different models. I'm still looking, but I'll post if and when I find it. I'm kinda nervous about bending the little tubes, too. Seems like a prime place to develop a leak!?!?!?!
