Default Sears Jack

Any one else buy/use this jack? Does it fit a 2007 SuperGlide?

I have one, it works fine but it will not hold your Dyna perfectly level without an adapter kit. If you make sure to secure the bike with the included ratchet straps it doesn't have to be level.

I've heard a lot of discussions about the "red" or "yellow" Sears jack, and most people I've talked to recommended the "yellow" ... not sure what the difference is, they both have the same capacity listed, but the yellow is more expensive ... this one is way cheaper than both.

Not gonna get into the age old yellow vs. red lift argument other than to say I have the red one and it works just fine for me.

However, none of these generic lifts are going to "fit" a dyna perfectly, because the dyna frame is uneven underneath. You either need to buy the HD dyna frame adapter kit or engineer something similar on your own so the bike sits level on the lift. With that said, some people use a lift like this with no adapters and just deal with it being unlevel. I don't recommend it though. I bought the frame adapter kit.

The yellow one is aluminum and alittle lower than the red one.

I own the red, but haven't used it on my Bob yet. Been using it for the past 3 years though for my quads, dirtbike and even some 1 ton axles. Works great.

so.... the one in this link is different than the yellow/red ones... obviously.
http://auto.sears.com/Product.htm?ca...ductId=2020557

The one in the link doesn't look like it rolls around after jacking it up....the red and yellow ones do.

Once you put the adapters (or wood with velcro) .. does it hold the bike well enough to sit on it while on the jack? I'm speaking of any of the jacks...red, yellow, or the black one.
Can you change engine/transmission/primary fluids with it on any of the jacks?

Heres a link to-
reviews on the red one http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...ck#reviewsWrap
reviews of the yellow one: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_1...ck#reviewsWrap

The yellow one gets a much better rating. Haven't read through them yet to see why.

Theres also a silver one. Looked pretty nice... $169.. no reviews.
